THE NORTH STAR LEADS TO MTS

Fountain City, WI — Mississippi Thunder Speedway is thrilled to announce the Inaugural
USRA North Star Nationals, set to take place on September 5th, 6th, and 7th, 2024. This marquee
event will feature stiff competition in USRA classes featuring, Modifieds, B-Mods, Stock Cars, and
Hobby Stocks. The unique format features two qualifying nights. Two features will be contested per
preliminary night, per class. This will set the stage for the Saturday night Main Events and allow for the maximum amount of cars to gain National USRA points throughout the event. With the seasons conclusion drawing near, this promises to be a can't miss show for drivers seeking valuable USRA
National Points.

The stout payouts for each class are the shining star of the weekend. Notably, the Modifieds will award a $10,000 prize to the Saturday feature winner and pay $700 to start.
B-Mods will compete for $3,000 to win on Saturday night with $500 start money. The USRA Stock
Cars will also chase a $3K payday and $500 to start the feature. $2,500 will be up for grabs in the
Hobby Stock feature, with $300 to start. Eco Mods will also compete on Friday only. USRA Late
Models will get a chance to race on Saturday night.

Bob Timm, Owner of Mississippi Thunder Speedway, expressed his enthusiasm for the
event, stating, “We are incredibly excited to host the Inaugural USRA North Star Nationals. This
event represents a new chapter for our speedway, bringing together some of the best
in dirt track racing. We're looking forward to creating a unique and thrilling experience for
both drivers and fans, and we can't wait to see everyone here in September.”

In addition to the racing action, the North Star Nationals will offer a variety of off-track
activities, including a DJ in the Hospitality Area on Thursday night, a live band on Friday
night, and family-friendly events such as a cornhole tournament and a Punt, Pass & Kick
competition on Saturday. Fans can also enjoy breakfast and lunch served at the Main
Concession throughout the event.

Tickets for the North Star Nationals will be available next week, with special pricing for three-day
passes. More information regarding tickets, entry fees, camping, full schedule of events, payouts
and general track info, will be available starting Tuesday, August 6th.
