Mississippi Thunder Speedway Unveils Action-Packed 2025 Schedule

Fountain City, Wisconsin – Mississippi Thunder Speedway (MTS) has officially released its highly anticipated 2025 schedule, showcasing a robust lineup of thrilling weekly races and marquee events that promise to keep fans on the edge of their seats. With partnerships with premier series such as the Northern Lights Modified Series (NLMS), World of Outlaws Late Models, and IRA Sprint Cars, MTS is set to deliver one of its most exciting seasons yet.

The 2025 season kicks off with the 17th Annual Season Opener on Friday, April 18, featuring all five of the track’s weekly classes. From there, the action builds to some of the year's biggest events, including the Dairyland Showdown and the USRA North Star Nationals, which bookend a summer of unforgettable racing.

Highlights of the 2025 Season:

Dairyland Showdown (May 1–3): A three-night extravaganza featuring the World of Outlaws Late Models and Northern Lights Modifieds. The event culminates with a massive $75,000-to-win World of Outlaws Late Model feature on Saturday night, alongside a $3,000-to-win NLMS finale, setting the bar for marquee events nationwide.

Modified World Championship (May 28–31): This premier four-night event showcases Modifieds and Stock Cars in high-stakes competition. The finale will see Modified drivers battling for an unprecedented $100,025-to-win purse, making it one of the richest Modified races in the country.

USRA North Star Nationals (September 4–6): The inaugural Northern Lights Modified Series championship finale, where NLMS competitors will race for $5,000 to win on the final night, alongside USRA Stock Cars, B-Mods, and Hobby Stocks.

Additional Highlights:

MTS Summer Sizzler (July 25–26): Featuring the IRA 410 Sprints and Dirt Kings Late Models.
Karl Fenske Memorial (June 20): Honoring one of the greats with a night of competitive racing.
