FOUNTAIN CITY, WI — The Northern Lights Modified Series (NLMS) is set to close out its 2025 campaign in spectacular fashion at the Kickass Beef Jerky North Star Nationals, September 5-6 at Mississippi Thunder Speedway. This marquee event will serve as the final stop on the NLMS tour, bringing the best Modified racers in the region together to battle under the lights with championships on the line.
Race fans can expect a full weekend of action-packed competition as USRA Modifieds headline both nights, alongside USRA Stock Cars, B-Mods, Hobby Stocks, Eco Mods, USRA Late Models, and Hornets. Each division will compete in complete shows both Friday and Saturday, with impressive payouts spread across the board.
The Main Event – Northern Lights Modified Series
With $2,000-to-win Friday and $2,000-to-win Saturday, the Modifieds are the clear spotlight of the weekend. The Kick Ass Beef Jerky North Star Nationals not only offers big-money racing, but it also represents the culmination of the 2025 Northern Lights Modified Series season. Drivers who’ve battled across Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota will now converge at MTS to determine who will be crowned champion in front of one of the most passionate fan bases in dirt racing.

USRA Stock Cars: $800 to win Friday, $1,000 to win Saturday.
USRA B-Mods: $600 to win Friday, $800 to win Saturday.
USRA Late Models: $500 to win Friday, $700 to win Saturday.
USRA Hobby Stocks: $500 to win Friday, $700 to win Saturday.
USRA Eco Mods: $150 to win Friday, $150 to win Saturday.
USRA Hornets: $125 to win Friday, $125 to win Saturday.
